Most things we do are measured by one question. WHATS IN IT FOR ME? This is because we live in a culture of self gratification.

  It’s easy to convince ourselves that we are righteous people because of our good deeds. But what if serving others offered us nothing in return. Would we still serve?

  My challenge for us today is that we examine our hearts when serving others. 

QUESTION: Are we serving others (our spouses, coworkers, churches, neighbors, communities, etc.) for recognition or position or simply because we are following the example of Jesus who served us first?
