There are seasons in life when we’re on fire for God and nothing can separate us!  We are growing in life by leaps and bounds!  Our dreams are clear and our motivation for life is sky high!

As time goes by and seasons change, our motivation and momentum fades.  It all happens so fast, and to our surprise we can wake up wondering how we drifted away and lost our passion for God.  We ask ourselves how we gave up hope and became discouraged, wondering if we’ll ever become who God created us to be.  After several attempts at fixing what we think is broken, we put ourselves at risk of adopting the idea that we are not “Good Enough!” Too often because of my failures and short comings, I battle with feeling like I’m not “Good Enough!”  At times I’ve doubted ever living to see God’s best for my life.  It can be discouraging to see the gap between what God has called me to be in comparison to the reality of where I stand.

SEASONS OF BROKENNESS

We get so stuck in our own issues that we lose focus of the fact that God uses these seasons of brokenness to prepare us for bigger challenges in life.  It’s so important for us to grow from our struggles and learn to live above our circumstances.  God wants to work through us, using our struggles as valuable assets to help others going through discouraging times too.

 UNDERSTANDING DISCOURAGEMENT

John 10:10 says,  “A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy.  I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.”  The enemy wants us to stop believing in God’s plan for our life!  He comes to steal our hope!  Unfortunately, too often we listen while he distorts the truth about what God has promised us.  Don’t ever let the enemy convince you that God’s plan for you has changed!  Live your life above discouragement and live it to the fullest! In discouraging times..

• When your passion for God has faded!
• In moments of doubt and confusion!
• When you stop believing God’s plan for your life!
• In the middle of your storm!
• When all hope is gone and you feel like giving up!

THE LORD IS CLOSE, HIS LOVE AND PLAN FOR YOU REMAINS!!

YOU ARE “GOOD ENOUGH!”

Realize that Jesus paid it all on the cross, so that through Him we could be made “Good Enough!”  Your dreams were given to you by God!  VERSE AFTER VERSE!  PROMISE AFTER PROMISE!  CONFORMATION AFTER CONFORMATION!  God continues to show you that He has a plan for you!  What more do you need?  He knows we fail and yet His love and plan for us remains!
